Our education topic will be presented by Gary Linder a well respected communicator and public speaker on topics relating to regulatory compliance and investigations, case management, and leadership.  Gary is an  accomplished and driven Investigator with a 30 year history of working in the law enforcement industry, the latter years, since 2005, as a Diversion Investigator with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Skilled in regulatory compliance, along with civil and criminal investigations, with a focus on the United States Criminal Code (U.S.C.) and Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.), Part 1300 to End.  Join us to learn about regulations and compliance issue that impact the credentialing of practitioners.

Participants can expect to learn the following

• Provide an overview of diversion control in relation to regulatory, credentialing and compliance (MATE Act training requirements)
• Understand the expectations DEA requires for prescribing and monitoring prescriptions to avoid diversion
• Revisiting new DEA registration requirements, record keeping, red flags and overall best practices
